‘From page one to the final word, we believe the Bible is a unified story that leads to Jesus.’ The Bible Project
We try to allow Scripture to shape, inform and guide all we are and do at TPC. This diverse collection of ancient books overflows with wisdom for our modern world. We believe the message of Jesus will transform individuals and entire communities as we engage with Scripture and let the biblical story speak for itself.
We are big fans of The Bible Project and love how their resources help us experience the Bible in a way that is approachable, engaging, and transformative. Check out their free resources online and let their brilliant videos open up Scripture and show how it comes together as a unified story leading to Jesus.
Want a bible reading challenge? Why not read through the entire Bible with the help of Read Scripture, a year-long Bible reading plan with amazingly creative videos that explain every book of the Bible, major theological themes of the gospel, and tips on how to read the Bible.
The Bible for Everyone
We are convinced that Scripture should be something that everyone can read, understand and enjoy. ‘The New Testament for Everyone’ is a rich, vibrant and insightful collection of commentaries based upon Tom Wright’s lifetime study and love of the Scriptures.
If you want to ‘go deeper’ with your love for and understanding of the Bible then there is no better place to start.
We aim to incorporate Scripture into all our gatherings – as we pray together, meet in T:able gatherings, through regular Retreat, and in our main worship gatherings.
However, there is something really powerful when Christians read and pray Scripture together. To help with this we will soon launch a new initiative called - Read: Pray Scripture.
The idea is quite simple. We will choose a book in the Bible to read through. Make supporting resources available. And meet monthly to talk about what we are learning and respond in prayer to what the Lord is saying through Scripture.
