Prayer
"To clasp the hands in prayer is the beginning of an uprising against the disorder of the world..." Karl Barth
Prayer is the centre-point of life with God. It is first and foremost a response to a conversation prompted by our Heavenly Father. It is a deeply relational invitation to ‘walk & talk’ with our Father.
This responsive approach to prayer then forms us into a ‘way of being.’ Through it we learn attentiveness to our Father and to those people He has called us to love and serve.
Having prayed ourselves into a way of being we then find ourselves invited to respond through participation in God’s good, redemptive work in our times and places.
In all of this Jesus is our exemplar and best guide.
