Important Update – Transfer of The Peoples Church to a CIO Structure
 

Dear members and friends,

We want to let you know about an important development in the governance of The Peoples Church. The trustees have established a new Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) called The Peoples Church (Banbury) CIO. This change strengthens our legal and administrative structure and will help us continue our mission effectively in the years ahead.

What does this mean for your personal data?
As part of this transition, the personal data currently held by The Peoples Church (the unincorporated charity) will be transferred to the new CIO. This includes information such as your contact details, membership information, volunteer records, and any other data we hold to support the life and ministry of the church.

Why is this happening?
The CIO will take over the activities, responsibilities, and administration of the church. To continue serving you and communicating with you, the CIO needs to hold the same information as the existing charity.

We continue to comply with UK data protection law. The CIO will process your data:
•     only for the same purposes as before
•     securely and responsibly
•     with respect for your rights
